We will advise you on the steps to be taken and will guide you through the process without any complications.  This may include assembling information from the date of death, preparing the Affidavit which has to be filed with the Revenue Commissioners and preparing all office forms so that a Grant of Representation can be applied for, collecting assets and obtaining tax clearance certificate and ultimately distributing the estate in accordance with the terms of a Will or Intestacy.

Some basic documentation that would be required to assist in making an application for a Grant of Probate/Administration: -

  • The deceased PPS Number;
  • Copy of the funeral account to include burial expenses;
  • Copy of the Death Certificate of the Deceased;
  • The original Will or any codicils;
  • PPS Numbers and names and addresses for all beneficiaries and next of keen;
  • A schedule of assets of the Deceased to include shares held, bonds, credit union and bank accounts, property and other assets.
  • Details of any foreign assets held by the deceased.
